SYMPTOMS

After you create a new file in the Favorites folder, you may be unable to see this file when you click the Favorites menu in Internet Explorer. Note that you may still be able to view this file by using Windows Explorer.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you created a file other than a link (.lnk) file in the Favorites folder. The Favorites folder only displays .lnk files.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
