DOC: Problems with the lpABContEntryID Field of ADRPARM Struct (200360)

SUMMARY

The MAPI documentation for the lpABContEntryID field of the ADRPARM structure is incorrect. It currently states that lpABContEntryID is a pointer to the entry identifier of the container that initially supplies the list of recipient addresses that are displayed in the address dialog box.

This was never actually implemented.

If you specify the lpABContEntryID field of the ADRPARM structure with the entry identifier of a container and then call the IAddrBook::Address function, the container specified by lpABContEntryID is not initially displayed in the common address book dialog box. Instead, the default address book container appears.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be an error in the MAPI documentation.
