When you use the Windows Media Administrator to administer a Windows Media server from a Windows 95 computer, the Unicast and Monitor services may appear as running when they have actually stopped.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if the computer is not available or the services are not started.
RESOLUTION
Make sure that the computer is available and the services are running.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
