SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to create a project in Greetings 99 or Home Publishing 99 on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer, you may receive the following error message:
Sorry, file can't be found.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the root directory of the hard disk on which Windows NT is installed does not contain a Temp folder.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, create a new Temp folder in the root directory of the hard disk on which Windows NT is installed. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
  2. Double-click the hard disk on which Windows NT is installed.
  3. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
  4. Type Temp, and then press ENTER.

The Temp folder is used to store temporary files that are created when you install programs, as well as when you create or modify documents.
