SYMPTOMS
When you view a page that contains a form that is
configured to send the form results to an e-mail address, you may receive the
following message on the page rather than the form:
[FrontPage Save Results Component]
CAUSE/RESOLUTION
Case 1
Some FrontPage components, referred to as browse-time components,
interact with a Web server and do not function when you use them on a
disk-based Web. Browse-time components function only when you use the Hypertext
Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to browse to a Web server on which you installed
FrontPage Server Extensions.
To correct this problem, publish your
Web to a FrontPage extended Web server.

F000: Mail form does not send e-mail from a disk-based FrontPage

Case 2
Your Web was converted from a disk-based Web to a FrontPage
Server Extensions Web, but your form still refers to the disk-based location
for saving your forms results.
To correct this problem, open your
form in FrontPage and change the location to where you want your form results
saved. To do this, right-click the form, click
Form Properties on the menu that appears, and then do one of the following:
- Click Browse to select the location where you want to send your form
results.
For example, change the Look in box in the Current Web dialog box to _private and select the form-results.txt file (or the file you want to save your form results
to).
-or- - In the File name box, type or correct the path to the file you want to save your
form results to.
Case 3
This problem may occur because the e-mail transport on the
computer that hosts your Web is not configured correctly. To correct this
problem, configure the Web server for e-mail transport.

This problem can occur if you use a third-party FTP program to
copy your Web to an Internet server. Some FrontPage components do not function
unless you transfer the entire contents of your Web.
