OL2000: Cannot Customize Calendar Week Numbers for Fiscal Year (196567)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to set the starting week number in the Microsoft Outlook Calendar, there is no option to begin the numbering based on a fiscal year.

You can set the starting numbering scheme for weeks on the Calendar. To set the week numbering scheme, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options and then click Calendar Options.
  2. Under Calendar Options, click to select the "Show week numbers in the Date Navigator" check box.

    This option numbers each week in the monthly thumbnail views of the Calendar.
  3. Under Calendar Work Week, the "First week of year" list provides the following three options:

    Starts on Jan 1
    First 4-day week
    First full week

There is no option to start numbering based on a fiscal year starting date.
