OL2000: (IMO) Fax Starter Edition Gives SMTP/POP Error on Send (195602)

Starter Edition you may receive the following error message:
Unable to connect to the server: (Account: 'Symantec Fax
Starter Edition', SMTP Server: '127.0.0.1', Error Number: 0x800ccc0e').
CAUSE The Fax Mail Server and modem controller are not loaded or
not configured correctly. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue: Run the Setup Wizard- On the Start menu, point to Find, and then click Files Or
Folders.
- In the Named box, type OLFSETUP.EXE, and then click Find
Now.
- When the file name is displayed in the lower pane of the
dialog box, double-click it to start the Symantec Fax Starter Edition Setup
Wizard.
- Complete the Setup Wizard.
Start the Fax Mail Server and Modem Controller After the Setup Wizard finishes, manually start the Fax Mail
Server and modem controller. To do this:
- On the Start menu, point to
Find, and then click Files or Folders.
- In the Named box, type
WFXMSRVR.EXE, and then click Find Now.
- When the file name appears in the lower pane of the dialog
box, double-click it to start the fax server.
Verify the File Is LoadedNOTE: To verify that the file has been loaded correctly, press
CTRL+ALT+DELETE. NOTE: The Wfxmsrvr file does not open any window. If you see OLFax MOD
- < Name of your modem> and the Wfxmsrvr file
in the task list, the file has been loaded correctly. If you do not
see the Wfxmsrvr file listed, follow these steps:
- On the Start menu, point to
Find, and then click Files or Folders.
- In the Named box, type
OLFMOD32.EXE , and click Find
Now.
- When the file name appears in the lower pane of the dialog
box, double-click it to start the modem controller.
NOTE: By default, the files are located in the folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033 If you are still receiving the error message that is
described in the "Symptoms" section of this article after running these steps,
remove, and then reinstall the Symantec Fax Starter Edition. After the Setup
Wizard finishes, manually start the Fax Mail Server and modem controller.
