Microsoft Publisher 98 installs a number of graphics filters that allow you
to insert a variety of graphic file formats into a publication. The
following graphics filters are installed by Microsoft Publisher 98:

Tagged Image File Format (.tif)
PC Paintbrush (.pcx)
Kodak Photo-CD (.pcd)
JPEG Picture Format (.jpg)
CompuServe Graphics Interchange Format (.gif)
Portable Network Graphics (.png)
Computer Graphics Metafile (.cgm)
Windows Metafile (.wmf)
Micrografix Desginer/Draw (.drw)
Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)
DrawPerfect (.wpg)
CorelDraw! (.cdr)
MORE INFORMATION
Various applications may also install other graphic filters that Microsoft
Publisher 98 may be able to use to import other graphic formats. However,
only those filters installed by Microsoft Publisher 98 have been verified
to work for inserting graphics into Publisher.
