WD98: Font Menu Does Not Match Appearance Control Panel Settings (194406)

The Font menu in Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition does not match the
settings in the Appearance Control Panel. When you use the Font menu, it is
white and has a two-dimensional appearance.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, obtain the Office 98 Update for Mac OS 8.5. For

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh
Edition. This problem has been corrected in the Office 98 Update for Mac OS
8.5.
MORE INFORMATION
After you apply the Office 98 Update for Mac OS 8.5, the Font menu will
always appear with the Apple platinum appearance, even if you select a
different setting in the Appearance control panel.
