SYMPTOMS

When printing a Microsoft Publisher 98 file to a printer controlled by the Windows Printing System (WPS), you may receive the following error message:
Cannot load the printer driver.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, print your file using a non-WPS printer driver. For example, if you are printing to an Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet III printer using WPS, install an HP LaserJet III PCL printer driver and then print your file.
