OL97: Changes Lost in Attached Word File When Forwarded (190926)

Using Microsoft Outlook 97, when you forward an attachment after editing
the attachment, the recipient does not see the changes.
CAUSE
The changes were not saved in Outlook.
RESOLUTION
After making the changes in Microsoft Word 97 for Windows you must close
the message in Outlook. You will then be prompted to Save Changes. Click
Yes. You can now re-open and forward the message with your changes
included.
MORE INFORMATION
Because of the way Word saves the document, close the e-mail message after
making changes. When you are prompted to save the changes, click Yes.
