Zoom In/Out Unavailable After Installing TweakUI (190772)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use the Internet Explorer 4.0 PowerToys Zoom In/Zoom Out feature after you install the Windows 98 PowerToys TweakUI tool, you are unable to do so.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Zoom In/Zoom Out feature is not included with the version of PowerToys on your Windows 98 CD-ROM.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the Magnifier tool included with Windows
  1. To do so, use the following steps:
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double- click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. On the Windows Setup tab, double-click Accessibility, and then click the Accessibility Tools check box to select it.
  4. Click OK, click OK, and then insert the Windows 98 CD-ROM when you are prompted to do so, and then follow the instructions on the screen to finish the installation.
To use the Magnifier tool, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Accessibility, and then click Magnifier.

The Zoom In/Zoom Out feature is installed when you install Internet Explorer 4.0 PowerToys. The Internet Explorer 4.0 PowerToys is designed only for Microsoft Windows 95-based and Microsoft NT-based computers.
