This article was previously published under Q190231 SYMPTOMS
While using Microsoft Outlook 98, you notice that the paragraph spacing of
text copied from certain programs changes when pasted into an HTML mail
message.
CAUSE
The HTML paragraph style is automatically applied to text pasted into an
HTML message. Pasting text created in Microsoft Word will exhibit this
behavior. However it does not occur with text pasted from Notepad. Word can
create text with an attached style while Notepad cannot.
RESOLUTION
To adjust the line spacing, follow these steps:
- Select the text that you wish to adjust.
- On the Format menu, click Style and then click Normal.
