SBS User Creation Address Field Limited to 64 Characters (190129)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a new user with the User Account Wizard, you receive the following error message:
Address Information must be less than 64 Characters

CAUSE

During Small Business Server setup, you entered an address that is more than 64 characters. Now, when you create new users, it uses that address by default.

RESOLUTION

Make the address less than 64 Characters.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Small Business Server version 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post additional information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
