SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade to Windows 98, your OpenGL-based programs may no longer work correctly, or may not work at all.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are using an nVidia RIVA 128-based display adapter. The Windows 98 drivers for the nVidia RIVA 128-based display adapter do not support OpenGL.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your display adapter to inquire about the availability of a display adapter driver that supports OpenGL.
