PRJ98: Missing Or Incorrect Object When Print Or Preview Report (189863)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98 Service Release 1, when you print or print preview a report, objects attached to tasks may not print or may print incorrectly.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you print or print preview a report and the following conditions exist:

  • The project contains an inserted project.
  • The tasks in the inserted project are expanded.
  • The inserted project has an object attached to one of its tasks.
  • The option to print task objects is selected.

WORKAROUND

To print a report with objects attached to tasks, open the inserted project that contains the tasks with attached objects and print the report.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
