  • PowerPoint 3.0 and 3.0b for the Macintosh
  • PowerPoint 4.0, 4.0a, and 4.0c for Windows (.ppt)
  • PowerPoint 4.0 for the Macintosh
  • PowerPoint 7.0 for Windows 95 (.ppt)
  • PowerPoint 7.0 for Windows 95 Design Templates (.pot)
  • PowerPoint 7.0 for Windows Show (.pps)
  • PowerPoint 97/98 Presentations (.ppt)**

* PowerPoint 2.0 and 2.0e for Windows files must be moved cross-platform by the Apple File Exchange utility and require the PowerPoint Apple File Exchange Translator.

** PowerPoint 98 for the Macintosh files must be given the correct three letter extension, .ppt, .pot, .pps, before PowerPoint 97 will open these files. PowerPoint 97 can import files saved in the following formats:
