Plus! 98: Prompted for Password When Extracting Compressed File (189582)

When you attempt to extract a file from a compressed folder, you may be
prompted to type a password even if the file is not encrypted.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:
- When you click Extract on the File menu, the compressed file is in use.
- You are attempting to extract the file to a folder that contains an
uncompressed file with the same name.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, extract the compressed file from MS-DOS or to a
folder that does not contain an uncompressed file with the same name.
