SYMPTOMS

When attempting to publish a custom form in your Personal Forms library, with Microsoft Outlook 97, you may get the following error message:
Operation too Complex

CAUSE

You may have a corrupt Profile or Personal Folders (.pst) file.

RESOLUTION

  1. Create a new profile and add all necessary services to the new profile.

  2. Create a new .pst file.
  3. Import the old .pst into Outlook.
