SYMPTOMS

You cannot apply the wallpaper associated with certain Microsoft Plus! 98 Desktop Themes across multiple monitors.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Plus! 98, version 1.0.

MORE INFORMATION

The wallpaper associated with the Corbis, Horror, and PhotoDisc desktop themes cannot be applied across multiple monitors. When you apply these wallpaper selections across multiple monitors, a black screen is displayed on the secondary monitor. The wallpaper associated with all other Plus! 98 Desktop Themes is either stretched across or duplicated on the secondary monitor.

When you use the PhotoDisc desktop theme, the wallpaper on the secondary monitor consists of the link to the PowerPics Web site displayed against a black background.

NOTE: If the secondary monitor is positioned left of the primary monitor, or if multiple monitors are staggered, the link to the PowerPics Web site is not displayed on the secondary monitor(s).
