PPT: QuickTime Movies Jump or Miss Frames in PowerPoint (188950)

After you scale a QuickTime movie in PowerPoint, it may not play correctly.
Your movie may present the following problems:
- The movie may appear jumpy.
- The movie miss frames.
-or- - The movie may play slowly.
CAUSE
This symptom appears because of a loss of the original aspect ratio.
RESOLUTION
To restore the QuickTime movie to its original aspect ratio, follow these steps:
- On the Format menu, click Picture.
- Click the Size tab.
- Make sure the Relative to original picture size check box is selected, and the Lock aspect ratio check box is not selected, then click Reset.
- Now, click to select the Lock aspect ratio check box.
If the aspect ratio is locked, you can reset the size back to the original 100%. - Type the scale size you want, and then click OK.
