XL98: PivotTable Report Unavailable with Parameter Query (188223)

If you are returning data to Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition from an
external data source, the PivotTable Report option may be unavailable in
the "Returning External Data to Microsoft Excel" dialog box.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the data you are returning is based on a
parameter query.
RESOLUTION
If you want to create a PivotTable report from external data, do not use a
parameter query.
STATUS
This behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
