Cannot Suspend Computer with NetX or VLM Loaded (188118)

When you try to suspend your computer (or place it in Standby mode), you
may receive an error message similar to the following message:
Your computer can't go on standby because a device program won't allow
it. Close all open programs, and then try again."
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you install a real-mode Novell NetWare network
client (such as NetX or VLM). These clients are continuously loaded in memory.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods:
- Use a 32-bit NetWare network client.
- Do not attempt to suspend your computer or place it in Standby mode.
