When a password protected screen saver is set and the screen saver is
triggered, the workstation does not prompt the user for their password as
if the workstation were locked, which is normal behavior for screen savers
that are password protected.
CAUSE
Winlogon is not being notified when the screen saver quits.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
