SUMMARY

CHANNEL, ITEM, SOFTPKG, the basic building blocks for creating a distribution channel, do not have support for the XML-SPACE attribute for the TITLE per the CDF specification.

The following is an excerpt for the Channel Definition Format (CDF) spec.

As specified in the W3C XML specification, "The value DEFAULT signals that applications' default white-space processing modes are acceptable for this element; the value PRESERVE indicates the intent that applications preserve all the white space. This declared intent is considered to apply to all elements within the content of this element, unless overridden with another instance of the XML-SPACE attribute."
