Import and Analysis Module Tabs Not Displaying Correctly (184698)

SYMPTOMS

In both the Import Module and the Analysis Module, several of the tabs display incorrectly. Some tabs are displayed with text from other tabs overwriting the correct text of the tab(s) in question.

CAUSE

The Tabctl32.ocx file is overwritten by a newer version of Tabctl32.ocx, which breaks the tab dialogue code in the Import and Analysis Modules.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, replace the newer Tabctl32.ocx file with the earlier version. Version 5.00.3714, dated Jan 14, 1997 is known to work. It is strongly recommended that you save and keep a copy of the newer Tabctl32.ocx file, as replacing it with the older version may cause other programs to perform incorrectly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Site Server version 2.0.
