PUB98: Invalid Page Fault in Qs98.dll when Saving Web Site (184651)

When you save a web site publication created in Microsoft Publisher 98 you may receive the
following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut
down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you may receive the following message:
Mspub caused an invalid page fault in module QS98.dll.
CAUSE
This error occurs when you save a web site publication after making a change to any title frame
other than the frame on page 1, and the title frame remains selected.
WORKAROUND
Use one of the following methods to prevent this error:
Method 1: Return to Page 1 Before You Save Your Publication- On the View menu, click Go To Page (or press F5).
- In the Go to Page dialog box, type 1
and click OK
Method 2: Cancel the Title Frame Selection Before You Save the Publication
To cancel the title frame selection, click anywhere in the scratch area (the gray region outside
the page area). After you cancel the selection, the frame handles will no longer be visible.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of
this article.
