SYMPTOMS
Shortly after opening Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition and clicking the
mouse several times, Word may quit with a Type 1 error.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if you are using Sonic Ethernet 10/100 driver
version 1.3 and earlier.
RESOLUTION
You will need to contact Sonic Systems to obtain version 1.4 of their
Ethernet driver. Standard 10 megabytes per second (MBps) PCI card users
will also need to install this driver; the DLPI from the Fast Ethernet card
is included in the standard Ethernet drivers.
