SYMPTOMS

If your document contains multiple tables and the last table is a one-row table containing text in the right-most cell that spans at least three pages, and you save the file in the HyperText Markup Language (HTML) format, the text in the right-most cell will be deleted.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
