PUB98: How to Bypass the Publisher Catalog at Startup (184245)

SUMMARY

The Publisher 98 Catalog appears when you start Publisher. It is a catalog of publication designs that gives you a choice of creating a publication by using a wizard, a design, a blank publication or by opening an existing publication.

If you do not want the catalog to appear when you start Publisher, you can disable it by following these steps:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the General tab.
2. Click to clear the "Use Catalog at startup" check box.
3. Click OK.

To reopen the Catalog, click New on the File menu.
