SYMPTOMS

When you use ESEUTIL with the /P option to repair a damaged Exchange Server database, the following error message may appear:
Operation terminated with error -1526 (JET_errLVCorrupted)after xx
seconds.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5.
