WD98: PageMaker May Crash or Graphics May Disappear in Word 98 (183954)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition, Adobe PageMaker version 6.5 may stop responding (crash). Additionally, a graphic you insert from PageMaker may disappear when you attempt to drag it to another location in a Microsoft Word 98 document.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you use a beta version of Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition and Adobe PageMaker 6.5. (Note that this problem has been confirmed in versions as early as 5.0).

RESOLUTION

This problem was corrected in the released version of Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition. You must upgrade to the released retail version of Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition. STATUS

This problem occurs when you use a debug version of Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition and Adobe PageMaker 6.5. This problem was corrected in the released retail version of Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition.
