Setup Does Not Start When You Run the Ie4setup File (182973)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to run the Ie4setup file to install Internet Explorer, Setup may not start.

CAUSE

This problem can occur when you download the Ie4setup file using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and you do not download the file in binary mode.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download the Ie4setup file in binary mode. To enter binary mode, type binary at the FTP prompt and then press ENTER. For example: 
ftp>binary
