OFF98: VBE Toolbar Visible After Changing Screen Resolution (182801)

SYMPTOMS

When you change screen resolutions, the Standard toolbar used in the Visual Basic Editor appears instead of the Standard toolbar for the Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition program that you are using.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when all of the following conditions are true:

  • You start and exit the Visual Basic Editor. -and-

  • You use the Control Strip to change screen resolutions.

WORKAROUND

To display the Standard toolbar again, follow these steps:

  1. Press OPTION+F11 to start the Visual Basic Editor.
  2. Press OPTION+F11 to quit the Visual Basic Editor.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
