To create a shortcut on your desktop to a TV channel, follow these steps:
  1. Right-click an empty area on your desktop, point to New, and then click Shortcut.
  2. In the Command Line box, type tv:<channel>, where <channel> is the channel to which you want to create a shortcut, and then click Next. For example, if you are creating a shortcut to the PBS channel, type the following line:

    tv:pbs
  3. In the "Select the name for the shortcut" box, type a descriptive name for the shortcut, and then click Finish.
