When you use the Add New Printer wizard to install a new printer in
Microsoft Windows, your serial mouse may stop responding (hang).
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, restart the computer. To do so, follow these
steps: - Press CTRL+ESC to open the Start menu.
- Press the UP ARROW key to select Shut Down, and then press ENTER.
- Use the UP or DOWN ARROW keys to select Restart, and then press ENTER.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft IntelliPoint
software versions 2.0 and 2.1.
