OL98: Message Header Does Not Show in Preview Pane (182527)

In Microsoft Outlook 98, the Preview Pane is turned on, but the message
headers are not visible.
CAUSE
You have selected Hide Header Information.
RESOLUTION
There are two ways to hide or display the message header information.
Method 1- On the View menu, point to Current view and click Customize Current
View.
- Click Other Settings.
- Under Preview Pane, click to select the Hide Header Information
check box. To display header information, click to clear the Hide
Header Information check box
- Click OK, and OK to close all dialog boxes.
Method 2- To hide the header information, double-click in the Preview Pane
message header area.
- To display the header information, double-click the bottom
line of the double line that separates the Preview Pane from the
message list area.
MORE INFORMATION
Microsoft Outlook 98 provides the ability to preview mail messages in a
separate window pane. You also have the option to display the message
header information. This information includes: From, To, CC, and Subject of
the message. For some users this information may not be necessary. By
default Outlook will display the message header when the Preview Pane is
turned on.
