SMS: Remote Control Quick Viewer Freezes If Minimized (182407)

SYMPTOMS

If the Remote Control Quick Viewer is minimized for more than 10 minutes while the administrator is working with other programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, and so forth, the Quick Viewer display freezes.

WORKAROUND

At this time the only workaround available is to close the quick viewer and re-establish the remote control session.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.2. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
