use the "Do...Until...Loop" statement to remove the hyperlinks:

   Sub RemoveHyperLinks()
      With ActiveDocument
         Do Until .Hyperlinks.Count = 0
            .Hyperlinks(1).Delete
         Loop
         MsgBox .Hyperlinks.Count
      End With
   End Sub
