When you quit Internet Explorer, you may receive either of the following
error messages:
Windows 95
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
When you click Details, either of the following details is displayed:
- IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in module MSJAVA.DLL at
<address>.
- IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at
<address>.
Windows NT 4.0
The instruction at "0x7c040bdc" referenced memory at "0x028bfd78."
The memory could not be "read."
Click OK to terminate the application.
CAUSE
These error messages can occur if you quit Internet Explorer after running
a Java program.
RESOLUTION
This problem is fixed in Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1. For
