DMM: Auto Macros Ignored When Using Word to Mail Merge (181875)

Auto macros in Word may not run when you use Direct Mail Manager to create
a mail merge.
CAUSE
This functionality is by design. Certain auto macros will be ignored when
Direct Mail Manager uses Word to perform specific functions.

When you perform the following tasks in Direct Mail Manager, certain Word
auto macros will be ignored.
Importing Word Document Address List
Auto macros will not run when importing the address list from Word.
Creating a Form Letter
AutoClose and AutoExit macros will run in Word when creating a form letter
when using the Simple Form Letter.dot template from Direct Mail Manager.
Creating a Postcard
AutoNew, AutoClose, and AutoExit will run in Word when creating a postcard
when using the Postcard Wizard.wiz template from Direct Mail Manager.
Creating a Letter
AutoNew, AutoClose, and AutoExit macros will run in Word when creating a
letter when using the Letter Wizard.wiz template from Direct Mail Manager.
Creating a Flyer
AutoNew, AutoClose, and AutoExit macros will run in Word when creating a
flyer when using the Flyer Wizard.wiz template from Direct Mail Manager.
Printing the Mail Merge
AutoOpen, AutoClose and AutoExit macros will run in Word when you print a
mail merge from Direct Mail Manager.
