OL98: ErrMsg: The End Date Occurs Before the Start Date (180091)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook 98, if you attempt to define Calendar working hours that span midnight you will receive the following error message:
The end date you entered occurs before the start date.

CAUSE

Outlook will not allow you to define a Calendar work day that spans midnight.

RESOLUTION

There is no resolution for this problem.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Preferences tab, click Calendar Options.
  3. In the Calendar Work Week options, change the Start Time to 8:00 PM and the End Time to 4:00 AM.
  4. Click OK.
RESULTS: You receive the error message above.
