DMM: Long Address Doesn't Fit on Small Labels (179970)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Direct Mail Manager for Windows
This article was previously published under Q179970 SYMPTOMS
If you use Microsoft Direct Mail Manager to print mailing addresses to a
small label size, long addresses may wrap to the next line of the label,
cutting off the city, state, and postal code.
CAUSE
Microsoft Direct Mail Manager uses a 12 point font when creating the
mailing labels. Longer addresses may not fit on smaller labels and parts of
the address will be cut off.
RESOLUTION
Use a larger label, such as Avery 5160, or shorten the longer address if
possible.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
