PUB98: Error Dragging Multiple Scrap Objects to Publisher File (179519)

If you drag more than one Scrap object onto a publication at the same time, you
will receive the following error:
Publisher cannot locate the file, C:\Windows\Desktop\Scrap.shs.
Check to make sure that you typed the correct path and filename, and
that the floppy disk is inserted correctly; then try again.
After you click OK, you receive a second message:
Publisher cannot complete the operation.
CAUSE
Publisher is unable to insert multiple Scrap objects into a publication at the
same time.
RESOLUTION
Drag only one Scrap object at a time into Microsoft Publisher.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
If you drag an OLE object from a publication and drop it on the Windows 95
desktop, it will become a Scrap object. You can then drag that Scrap object
into another publication (or an open document from another program) to
duplicate that OLE object.
