PRJ98: Incorrect Task Values of BCWP, CV and SV (178825)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, you may find that Bugeted Cost of Work Preformed (BCWP), Scheduled Variance (SV), and Cost Variance (CV), are incorrect for a task.

CAUSE

This occurs when the file you are working with was originally created in a previous version of Project, one or more tasks start before 8:00 A.M., and the task that starts before 8:00 A.M. has a Percent Complete greater than zero.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
