Kids Plus!: Desktop Themes Wallpaper Is Not Displayed (177846)

SYMPTOMS

When you start your computer, the Plus! for Kids desktop themes wallpaper may appear briefly on the screen, and then be replaced by a different wallpaper.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 is installed, and the "View my Active Desktop as a web page" feature is enabled. With this feature enabled, the Plus! for Kids wallpaper is replaced with the Internet Explorer Active Desktop wallpaper.

RESOLUTION

To restore the Plus! for Kids wallpaper, select your Plus! for Kids desktop theme again by following these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Desktop Themes.
  3. In the Theme box, click the desktop theme you want, and then click OK.
