When you record a macro, the mouse pointer does not change to a cassette
tape as it does in Word for Windows. When you record a macro in Word for
the Macintosh, the mouse pointer will change to a transparent, outlined
arrow.
NOTE: The standard mouse pointer on the Macintosh is a black-filled arrow.
