How to set up your financial institution's online services to work with Money (175723)

Note If you are creating a new MSN BillPay account, you will not be able to import it into Microsoft Money 2005 or Microsoft Money 2006 because of changes in the account setup process.

Use the appropriate method for your version of Microsoft Money.

Microsoft Money 2006

1. See your online service sign-up information.
   
   Note You will receive this information from your bank or from your broker after you sign up to use their online service.
2. On the Microsoft Home page, in the left pane, click Account list.
3. In the left pane, click Manage Online Services.
4. Find the financial institution that you want to set up with online services, and then click Set up online services next to the institution's name.
5. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to set up the account with an online service.

Microsoft Money 2005

1. See your online service sign-up information.
   
   Note You will receive this information from your bank or broker after you sign up to use their online service.
2. On the Microsoft Home page, click Account list in the left pane.
3. In the left pane, click Manage Online Services.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to set up the account with an online service.

Microsoft Money 2002 through Microsoft Money 2004

1. See your online service sign-up information.
   
   Note You will receive this information from your bank or broker after you sign up to use their online service.
2. On the Money navigation bar, click Accounts & Bills, and then click Online Services Manager.
3. Find the financial institution that you want to set up with online services, and then click Set up online services next to the institution's name.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to set up the account with an online service.

Note If your bank does not offer its own online bill payment, you can sign up through another online bill payment service. To do this, on the Accounts & Bills menu, click Online Services Manager, and then click Set up electronic bill pay service.

Microsoft Money 2001

1. See your online service sign-up information.
   
   Note You will receive this information from your bank or broker after you sign up to use their online service.
2. On the Money 2001 navigation bar, click Accounts & Bills, and then click Account List.
3. In the left pane, click Set up accounts.
4. Click Set up online services.
5. Click the account that you want to set up with an online service.
6. Click Set Up, and then follow the instructions that appear on the screen to set up the account with an online service.

Microsoft Money 2000

1. See your online service sign-up information.
   
   Note You will receive this information from your bank or broker after you sign up to use their online service.
2. On the Money 2000 navigation bar, click Accounts.
3. In the left pane, click Set up accounts.
4. Click Set up online services.
5. Click the account that you want to set up with an online service.
6. Click Set Up, and then follow the instructions that appear on the screen to set up the account with an online service.

Microsoft Money 99

1. On the navigation bar, click Online.
2. Double-click the financial institution with the account that you want to set up for online Services.
3. In the left pane, click Online Setup.
4. Click Investigate Offerings, and the follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
   
   Note Steps 5 through 7 only appear if your financial institution offers and you decide to review Direct Banking and Investing options.
5. Click Review Service Details to review the services your financial institution offers. When you finish reading, click Finish.
6. Click Read Signup Info for information about features, prices, and signing up. When you finish reading, click Finish.
7. Click Set Up Direct Services, and then follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
