SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to change the option under Content For Offline Use in the Advanced Download Options dialog box for Active Channel subscriptions, the change may not take effect.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

A Channel Definition Format (CDF) file specifies the Content For Offline Use default option. The "Download all content specified by the channel's publisher" and "Download channel's Home Page and Table of Contents, if available" options are advanced download options for Active Channel subscriptions.
