In Microsoft Excel 97, if you try to type in a RichTextBox control, the
text may appear in a cell on the worksheet.
CAUSE
You may experience this problem if the following conditions are true:
- You are using the RichTextBox control, version 1.0.2922, that ships
with Microsoft Visual Basic version 4.0.
-and-
- You place the RichTextBox control on a worksheet.
-and-
- You try to type directly in the RichTextBox control.
WORKAROUNDSTATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
